This is a question about my dog missy. She is a red heeler/german shepherd mix. For a heeler she is very calm. She mostly sleeps alot. Im still living at home until next year, then i will probably move to an apartment. Im young and my finances are limited so im not sure if i can afford a house. Missy is an outside dog and ive already talked to a trainer who says that it wouldn’t be a problem to housetrain her. I just need advice from someone who has had a heeler in an apartment before. Is it an ideal situation for her?

Please send only nice advice!

We have been married for 3 years. I have had problems with my temper in the past. Never physical, but I would still hurt people by what I said and I would swear when I was angry. It has almost caused a divorce many times in the past, but we have been doing great for quite a while now. The past six months have been what she called the marriage she always wanted. Recently, things have just gotten better with us buying a house (My income/her credit) and me getting a job that I actually enjoy (my wife doesn’t work-disabled).
I got mad on the day that we closed because I wasn’t willing to jump thru all the hoops the finance company had for us and I felt like she went behind my back and did exactly what I said we wouldn’t do in order to get the loan. I felt like she undermined my principles.
We have to do some work to this house before we can move in and for finance company to ok the loan. I got off work and went straight to the house to run a new wire thru the attic. I had about an hour and 15 minutes to do it before church. She had to go to town and knew that I was getting up there. I thought she would be back to help in about 30 minutes. After an hour in the 150 degree attic with my 11 yr old trying to help me I found out that she had gone to the store and then went home to get cleaned up for church. Needless to say i was not happy when I got to our apartment. I did yell, but did not cuss. I stood at the end of the hall and told her that I felt like I had a right to be mad because I was the one that was cooking in the attic. In the heat of the moment I said that I wouldn’t be working on the house anymore. I know now that it was miscommunication on both of our parts that caused it.
Well I got out of the shower only to find out that she had went to church without me even tho we were already late. I went to the church with my son. After service, I came home and she stayed around the church and told people how mistreated she was (which she had a habit of doing back when things were not good with us 6 mths ago). At 9:30pm I sent her a text and asked if she was coming home or if I needed to make arrangments for my son for next day. At 10 she said she wouldn’t be home until I got help for my anger. I made arrangements for my son to stay at a friends house so that I didn’t have to take off a job I haven’t been at very long. At 6:30 in the morning she sent msg that she would watch him if I needed her to. I have to be at work at 7.
This all started 3 days ago and she is still saying that she won’t be home until I get counseling. I feel like I had every right to be angry and when she left me at home to go to church it just made it worse. Then she jeopardises my dream job because she’s mad, by leaving me with no one to watch my son at 10 at night!?
I don’t want to lose my marriage but I have made a lot of changes in my life to make this work already and I feel like I had a legitimate reason to be angry. I could take anger management counseling just to save the marriage, but my heart wouldn’t be in it. I don’t think it will ever be enough for her. I feel like she is just looking for a reason to leave now that we have a house (she couldn’t have gotten financed with just her child support income). A month ago she would have said that our marriage couldn’t get better.
Honestly, after the way she has acted the last few days, I have found myself more concerned with losing a home than I have been with losing my wife. It isn’t supposed to be this way.
Thank you in advance for your help

I’m thinking about co-signing a mobile home for my mom, how will it show up on my credit report? As real estate or a personal loan?? Will I be able to rent an apartment with this on my credit report??

Well this is just out of curiousity, I’m only 16 so I can’t even get an apartment. Lol. People on here are pretty mean for no reason actually, so don’t grill me for nothing.

Well my mom doesn’t even use a credit card, I’m not sure if she even has one, but she has credit. She uses a visa debit card, but she said it wasn’t a credit card. I always thought it was a credit card. We live in a house, but I always thought you had to get credit through a CREDIT card, ya know? So if you were getting an apartment, you could use your debit card? Blah, she doesn’t really want to sit down and teach me about financing and everything, the kind of info. I’m going to need to know in about two years. Lol. I’m going to ask her to get me a check card because she said I could when I got a job, which I just did about a week ago.

I have a friend who wants me to start a Corporation with him for the purpose of purchasing an apartment complex (currently housing mostly students). I’m curious if this is a sound strategy:
He wants to get 20% down payment thru the seller financing it by purchasing what in essence would be a corporate bond. We would get a mortgage for the other 80%. So the seller would give us the money for the bond( payable in 10 years at a 8% coupon rate for example), they would receive 80% of the purchase price upfront and would receive 20% of it in 10 years when the bond is due.
With that 20% we would purchase another income property with mostly cash.
If the seller goes along with this (which is a big if in my opinion) does it sound like a good idea?

I was wondering how many of you finance your MBA. I graduate this April and will begin working full-time at a Big 4 accounting firm, and I am faced with a difficult decision:whether to live with my parents or have my own apartment. I have lived at home during my undergraduate career and have been wanting to experience life outside the nest. Consequently, if I have my own apartment, I won’t be able to save as much as I would otherwise. I figure I will be able to save ,000 living on my own before pursuing my MBA four years from now. Any advice?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I own an apartment in Sao Paulo, Brazil that I am looking to refinance, with a higher loan value (increase the value of loan). The current value is USD 1,000,000 and I have a mortgage with a Brazilian bank. The mortgage is equivalent of USD 500,000 giving a loan to value of 50%. Refinancing is very difficult in Brazil – the main banks DO NOT offer this product. I am therefore looking to find an international lender/private lender who is willing to provide this type of financing.

I am an expat partner with one of the big-4 professional services firms, based in Brazil, with a very good income and credit history. Property financing in Brazil is very different to what I have experienced..

Considering that I may need to consider alternative options (for example, international lender) I will also take appropriate legal advice.

Any suggestions?

I’m 21 years old and still don’t own a vehicle. I have no family to rely on to help. I’ve been working at the same company for over 2 years now and renting from the same apartment complex for over 2 years. I thought because I didn’t have bad credit, that I would just take a lower amount. Only credit I can get are high amounts with high APR. I don’t want that, because I know its not serious and I wont be able to pay it off. Is there a company that will give me a loan for financing that isn’t a scam? Where do average middle class Americans go to get auto financing?

I know this question has been asked a million times, but I want to specify my situation. Additionally, I’ll be talking to my bank tomorrow for advice.

I’m 19 years old and I rent an apartment. I have a full time job (but I’m still under 3 months there) and have been living at my residence for 10 months.

I pay all my utilities and cable/phone/internet bills, which are all in my name, and I have never missed a payment. All of these accounts are 10 months old as well.

I have a checking account and a savings account about 8 months old each, and before that I had a savings account as a minor with another bank for a couple years.

I have applied for credit on 3 occasions. Two were store charge cards and one was Dell.com financing. All three times I was rejected due to a lack of credit history.

If I’ve already been rejected by stores, how can I hope to be accepted by a major credit card company? If I do a secured bank credit card, do I lose the money I use to open it?
Sorry, I forgot to mention two things:

I’m not in college (and won’t be for at least a year).

I want to buy my own home within the next 3-5 years, hence the need for credit.

I’m looking into buying a used car in a few months (BMW) & I’ll be going to Lending Tree for my loan. I just wanted to ask can you-yourself choose the terms(Months) that you want to pay off the car or does the finance company choose it depending on your credit history & how much money you put down?(My Credit History isn’t all that good) The car I’m looking at is about ,000 & I’m thinking about putting 00-00/down & want a term of 72/Months & I might sell the car later after maybe 4yrs. I just want a payment term that will have payments under 0 because I will be moving into an apartment with my cousin soon plus all the other bills we’ll have. So can you choose the term(months) you want or does the financing company?

Me and my girlfriend are both 19, and have been with each other for 4 years. My girlfriend doesn’t work, but I do work full time and so we live in an apartment together and have stable finances. Getting her pregnant wasn’t prepared for, it was an accident.

I’ve always been close to my Mom and I think she’ll understand. I’m more concerned about my girlfriend’s parents knowing.

How did you do this and what age were you?
Any tips?

My estimated Living Expenses are ,000 for staying in the Commons or Lofts at GA State University; am I better off getting an apartment? Which one is better to stay in, if I should stay on campus? Will I really miss out on an "college experience" @ GA State if im not on campus?

I own a business and am incorporated. I am considering filing bankruptcy but don’t want to include my personal debts (car payments) because I will pay those without disruption simply by getting a job. I want to find out about my business debts and if I can file bankruptcy on those and not involve my personal finances. I rent an apartment and pay car payments and do not outright own anything.

My wife and I have no loans on cars and no apartment (owned) yet. We want to buy a new car and finance it. How would that affect our home loans (in, say, 6 months)? Do the banks prefer you to have as little debt as possible, or would the car loan be good for our credit because we will be paying the financing on a regular basis for the next half year? We both have great credit ratings.

Appreciate any advice.

Well i will be a college student starting in the fall, and plan on living with my parents while attending community college. I am having a hard time understanding how credit works. By the end of my college career i want to finance a new car but don’t you need financing history. I also want a condo or apartment and don’t you need renter’s history. How does credit and building GOOD credit work?

I made some big mistakes this year. I got a 4 suite apartment, which is in a bad neighborhood, that I probably overpaid for. I also got a house for the person who helped get me financing for the apartment. The agreement was he pays for the house mortgage until he is able to refinance it in 6 months. He couldn’t make payments after a few months, and I am stuck with the house too. I want out of both deals so bad, my credit is shot because of late payments, the house is almost 3 months behind, i’m screwed. What’s the best way to get rid of everything? Short sale, bankruptcy, what? I don’t want to do something where i give them up, then have to pay the difference, i have no money for that! God i’m so young and stupid!!

I live in a country in which prostitution is legal and I’m planning on financing my apartment with it.

I know many may say that it’s a terrible thing to do, but…I don’t see it that way.

So, please don’t be judgmental and help me with a few questions.

Do you have to be pretty to be a prostitute? Send me an e-mail to see pictures.

And, how does one get started?

I a have non self sufficent 25 yr old girlfriend who can’t even balance her own checkbook. She has a gullible, naive personality, (every sales persons dream!) Anyhow, she’s been ripped off apartment wise, vehicle financing wise, well the list can go on. She can’t cook, clean, sew, do laundry or even clean her cat’s litter box ET CETERA.
She actually had her mom do EVERYTHING for her. She recently moved in to her own place with roomates.. I’m just worried she won’t last a week there.. Hey! I would show her the ropes of life, but I can’t show her everything! Maybe a book would help?

Are there books that tell you how to do EVERYTHING!

I want to move out a few months after graduation (so I’ll only be 18). However, I’m kind of scared of the danger of living in an apartment. I get paranoid about strangers being close to me. I don’t want want to get robbed. Still, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to handle finance well with renting a house. What should I do?

My credit is not perfect but I am working very very hard to improve it. I live in an rv park (so much cheaper than an apartment or a house) I need to get a different trailer. I may need to finance. Do you think that the lender will take into consideration I will be living full time in the rv instead of traveling in it? Thus being more lenient in financing terms. Thanks.

I have applied to a University to transfer in the spring, but I’ve just found out that transferring mid academic year is a pain in the a$$, plus then I have to worry about financing my dorm/apartment over the summer, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d rather just wait until next fall, when I get my entire financial aid award for the fall and spring semester, so that I’m covered for a full year. Can I go ahead and get accepted, but not go until next fall?

My mom’s apartment is in the process of having it put in my name and it is also on the market. I am still paying the consumer loan that is still under her name. If I stop making the payments and they find out that the apartment is being sold, can they go after the estate to pay off the loan?
Yes, my mother passed away and it is going through probate
and she did have a will
The loan is not under default, it is still up to date.
