I have a degree have taken economics, maybe you should lighten up. And from that stand point what part does not work?? Other than the mass of people quitting their jobs until their money runs out.
Hey marvin it is 42.5 and you should get some humor it may save you some.
sorry marvin missed a 0 however again I GOT THIS AS AN E-MAIL. So again get some humor it helps especially now. but replace that figure with what Pulsan wants, changes the numbers a bit.

We can’t feed and clothe all of America’s children, but we can afford $60 billion to bail out Bear Stearns.
We can’t provide decent medical care to America’s seniors, but we can give $85 billion to AIG insurance.
We can’t lift one finger to help out Americans losing their homes, but we can hand over up to $1 trillion to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
We haven’t the funds to provide proper care and support to American veterans, but we can afford up to $600 billion to buy pledged Lehman Brothers assets.
We can’t do a thing to stanch to flow of jobs offshore and alleviate the suffering of out-of-work Americans, but we can hand $700 billion over to a guy who, until two years ago, ran the main problem-creating company: Goldman Sachs.
We can’t afford to properly educate our children to fit into a changing America, but we can afford $1 trillion for a war that Cheney and Bush knowingly lied us into.
this is criminal and it is wrong. It is time for the American people to back up our slogan Land of teh Free and home of the Brave. Stand up for once people this is wrong.

Maybe you should take a class on economics.

Maybe you should vote a farmer into the White House instead of a loser like Shrub!
I think a farmer would have a better idea about what to do when a crop isn’t growing as it should and knows when to cut losses and plow things under.

Close, except…
85 billion divided by 200 million is 425, not 425,000.
Double check your math. It might save you some embarrassment.
Um, no, it’s 425. Where did you go to school again? Just want to make sure I steer well clear of that institution.
Sorry, dude, I am a little high strung right now. Just really don’t see anything funny or humorous about Washington wanting to spend my money on saving greedy and corrupt Wall Street bankers.

you wouldn’t have to liquidate AIG (who is going broke, because they insured banking companies)… or any of the banking companies…
the only problem they had was people not paying their mortgages… if people pay… they are magically solvent…
interesting plan…

lol. It is $425. A guy on 4chan wrote this and sent it to a bunch of people before he realized that the math was wrong. By the time he realized it and sent a correction, it had already been forwarded to a bunch of people.
It is amazing how fast stuff gets around the internet.
