I need to find an apartment by the end of the month, my credit is shot and I need assistance, what can I do?

I was living with my son, now I have to get my own apartment. I was laid off of 2 jobs within a 2-3 yr period which played havoc with my finances and bills.I’m currently employed but I need an apartment that goes according to income.How do I go about locating this information?

You can inquire into housing at your local housing authority or agency. They may have subsidized housing available and may be able to provide a list of landlords willing to work with risky tenants like you.

look for govn’t housing like last person posted. Thats where I live. All I needed was proof of income and a previous residence (for me was my parents house) In an area where 2 bedroom apt can run $1000+ easily mine is $680. Fairly nice size too.
It’s limited based off what yuo make but the price doens’t fluctuate. 1 person has to make between 15-19k 2 people is 19-23k something like that.
