i know this guy who used a fake social security to buy a house?

OK so my mom. goes to church with a lot of nice christian people along with her boyfriend.well his dad decided to buy a house like 7 years ago using someone Else’s social security number and so he try to refinance the house like a month ago and the bank found out that he was using a fake social security number. i am wondering what can happened to his dad. i know he broke the law but what can happen to him since he is illegal

This sounds like a felony charge. The likeliest thing is he will be indicted and tried and perhaps a plea bargain would allow him to escape jail time but he will then be taken into custody and deported.

HE’S illegal, as in not an american citizen? He could be deported
