As a small business owner (electrical contractor) I found out the hard way Cash and Carry. Stay away from credit period final answer. I was working with several other small contractors for a real es tat agency who was trying to turn several small older properties. We did the work and got paid fore each house or small office as it sold. Worked great for 3 years then a big agency bought the small one and left me with $37,000 owed. Almost all for labor and when I tried to get paid by new people they showed contract saying the old owners kept all debts.

Old owners took 2.75 million dollars and left country. Literally. Costa Rico
