If you don't succeed, send resumes and follow up on them. Commercial Real Estate isn't as great as it might seem. When the market is hot, it's probably great, but when it's not there is next to no activity and the commissions disappear. We own our own property management company with several managers on staff. They manage everything from apartments, houses, business leases and even triple net leases. These property managers have there hand in almost every aspect of my families business. Many move on to a bigger business or even jump into there own commercial real estate based business taking advantage of the networking created by the property management job.
